I always seem to find that I'm typically torn between classic, neutral shades (FYI my favorite color is taupe!) and color. I am finally getting down to really defining what I like and what I tend to design / curate. I love a neutral base with pops of color and gold accents.

As you can see above, my taste in accent colors tends to change across the seasons and the years but there are some that I just always gravitate towards:
What I can't seem to get enough of is combinations of colors, there is just something so appealing about looking at colors that just go. One of my favorite catalogs to browse is Boden because I just love the color combinations. Also, J. Crew from the 2000s really taught me to love color! (I foresee a whole post on that another day) There also are a ton of palettes popping up on my Pinterest for endless inspiration!
While I'll always lean classic, I just can't resist that pop of personality / cheer / uniqueness that comes with color!
